Webcam Hi-Fi

Webcam Hi-Fi is a musical project led by Frédéric Luneau, also known as Fredread, who is deeply rooted in the reggae and dub genres. Based in Southwest France, Fredread has been involved in the music scene for over 25 years, acting as a producer, promoter, and activist. His music is inspired by Jamaican roots-reggae and dub, with a strong emphasis on Rasta convictions and a message of unity and education. Webcam Hi-Fi's sound combines traditional elements with modern production techniques, featuring a powerful rhythm section, skanking guitars, horns, and flute, along with heavy dub vibes. The project has released several albums, including "Livity is My Temple" and "Feeding My Faith," which feature collaborations with various international artists.

Fredread's approach to music is deeply personal and DIY, with his own label, Tube Dub Sound Records, serving as a platform for his productions. He has toured extensively across Europe and beyond, performing with a variety of musicians and sound systems. Through Webcam Hi-Fi, Fredread continues to spread the message.
