林慧萍

Lin Hui-ping, also known as Monique Lin, is a Taiwanese pop singer born on August 20, 1963, in Keelung. She burst onto the music scene in 1982 with her debut album "Wangxi" (往昔), which became a huge hit and established her as one of Taiwan's most popular female vocalists of the 1980s. Lin's sweet voice and girl-next-door image made her a beloved figure in Taiwanese pop music, often referred to as one of the "Four Flowers" of that era alongside other female singers.

Throughout her career, Lin has released numerous successful albums and singles, showcasing her versatility by singing in Mandarin, Taiwanese, English, and Japanese. Some of her most well-known songs include "Wangxi" and "Liuxing" (流星). In 1998, Lin won the Golden Melody Award for Best Mandarin Female Singer, cementing her status as a respected artist in the Taiwanese music industry.
