Pochy Y Su Cocoband is a Dominican merengue band led by Pochy Familia. The band was formed in 1984 and has released over 20 albums. They are known for their energetic live performances and their fusion of traditional merengue with other genres, such as salsa and bachata. Pochy Y Su Cocoband has toured extensively throughout the world and has won numerous awards, including a Grammy Award for Best Tropical Latin Album in 2004.
