Jonathan Personne is the solo project of Montreal-based musician Jonatan Anthonissen, best known as the frontman of the acclaimed Quebecois indie rock band Corridor. Blending psychedelic pop, surf-rock textures, and introspective French lyrics, his music feels like a hazy daydream of 1960s nostalgia filtered through modern Montreal's vibrant indie scene. Since debuting in 2019 with his self-titled album, he's built a catalog of woozy, cinematic tracks like "Disparitions" and "Rock & roll sur ton chemin," often pairing reverb-drenched guitars with poetic musings on time and memory. His 2023 album *À présent* and singles like "Springsteen" further cemented his reputation for crafting sun-bleached, melancholic anthems that feel simultaneously vintage and freshly inventive. When not recording as Jonathan Personne, he continues to shape Quebec's indie landscape through Corridor's artful post-punk explorations.
