Alessandro Fisher is a British tenor celebrated for his expressive artistry and versatility across opera, recital, and concert performances. A Choral Scholar at Clare College, Cambridge, where he studied Modern and Medieval Languages, Fisher further honed his craft at London’s Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Since making his debut at the Salzburg Festival, he has performed at prestigious venues and festivals including Glyndebourne, Garsington Opera, The Grange Festival, and London’s Royal Opera House. Known for his sensitive delivery of lieder and diverse operatic roles, he has worked with renowned ensembles and orchestras such as BBC Philharmonic and the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic. Fisher’s acclaimed album *A Gardener’s World* features songs inspired by nature and flowers, reflecting deep human emotions through a repertoire spanning six languages.
He has been recognized with several honors including First Prize at the Kathleen Ferrier Awards (2016), membership in the BBC New Generation Artists scheme (2018–2021), and a Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship (2022). An Associate Artist of The Mozartists, Fisher continues to build a distinguished career with upcoming performances of works by Mendelssohn, Monteverdi, Vaughan Williams, and Kurt Weill. His recordings include notable projects such as Monteverdi’s *L’Incoronazione di Poppea* and repertoire by Ian Venables, Ralph Vaughan Williams, and Roussel.
