Summoning

Summoning is an Austrian metal band formed in 1993 by Silenius (Michael Gregor) and Protector (Richard Lederer). The band is known for its unique blend of ambient, atmospheric black metal with a strong emphasis on Tolkien-inspired themes and soundscapes. Incorporating symphonic and epic elements, their music often conjures the vast, sweeping vistas and the rich mythological narratives found within J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-earth.
