John Carter Cash

John Carter Cash is an American music producer, singer-songwriter, and author, known both for his own creative work and for being the only child of country legends Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash. Born in 1970, he grew up surrounded by music and began working in the industry as a producer, contributing to albums by his parents as well as artists like Loretta Lynn, George Jones, and Sheryl Crow. He's also released his own solo albums that blend Americana, country, and folk influences.

In addition to music, John Carter Cash is a published author, having written books about his famous family as well as children's stories and novels. He's also the founder of the Cash Cabin Studio in Hendersonville, Tennessee, where many iconic recordings have been made. Carrying on the legacy of the Cash and Carter family, he remains a passionate storyteller and creative force across multiple mediums.
