Josh Glenn Experiment

Josh Glenn Experiment is a solo project led by San Antonio-based musician Josh Glenn. Known for his unique blend of folk and experimental music, Glenn uses an acoustic guitar and a looping pedal to create layered sounds and rhythms right before the audience's eyes. This approach makes his live performances captivating, as he builds songs from scratch on stage, often incorporating percussive guitar taps and soulful vocals. His music is a journey of sound experimentation, blending classic singer-songwriter elements with avant-garde techniques.

Glenn's debut album, "Orange Moon," was released in 2016 and marked the culmination of his experimental approach. The album, produced by Brant Sankey, features collaborations with local musicians and showcases Glenn's evolving musical style. Prior to his solo project, Josh was part of the band Nat'l Parks, where he learned valuable musical disciplines that influenced his current work. His recent releases include "Americana Summer" and "This Year," continuing his tradition of blending folk with innovative techniques.
