Jozef Skrzek

Jozef Skrzek is a Polish multi-instrumentalist, composer, and vocalist best known as the founder and longtime leader of the progressive rock band SBB (Silesian Blues Band). Born in 1948 in Siemianowice Śląskie, Poland, Skrzek has had a prolific career that spans a variety of musical styles, including rock, jazz, electronic, and classical. He is recognized for his virtuosic skill on keyboards and synthesizers, as well as his innovative contributions to Poland's experimental and electronic music scenes.

Skrzek's solo work is deeply expressive and often incorporates spiritual and philosophical themes, as seen in recent releases like Non Omnis Moriar and Surge Propera.
