Formed in 1981 by Steve Albini, Big Black quickly gained a reputation for their harsh, industrial-tinged sound and confrontational live shows. They released a handful of EPs and two studio albums before calling it quits in 1987. Their final album, "Songs About Fucking," pretty much sums up their no-holds-barred approach to music and lyrics. Though they were only around for a short time, Big Black's influence on noise rock, industrial, and alternative music can still be felt today. If you're into music that pushes boundaries and doesn't care about being radio-friendly, Big Black is definitely worth checking out!
