Coster Ojwang

Coster Ojwang is a multifaceted Kenyan artist, known for his work in both music and visual art. Born in Western Kenya, he grew up in Andingo, Migori County, and was influenced by art and music from an early age. He studied art at The Mwangaza Art School in Kisumu, graduating in 2015, and then moved to Nairobi to pursue his artistic career. Ojwang's art is characterized by bold strokes and colors, drawing inspiration from his life experiences, people, and wildlife. His art has been exhibited internationally, including at the National Museum of Kenya, Australia, the USA, and the Netherlands.

In music, Coster Ojwang is a folk fusion artist, with albums such as "Tales of the Fisherman" (2021) and "Fweny" (2022), which translates to "Revelations" in Luo. His music is deeply rooted in his humble upbringing and life experiences, offering soulful and positive vibrations. Recent releases include "OMORO CHUNYA" and "ISNM (Imposter Syndrome No More)." His music career began in 2021, and he has been gaining recognition for his authentic storytelling and conscious lyrics.
