Talabun MC, real name Nikolai Semenov, is an up-and-coming vocal talent in the bass music and dubstep scene, originally from Uzbekistan and now based in Russia. Emerging around 2014-2015, he has steadily gained recognition for his distinctive style and lyrical depth, often collaborating with notable producers like Duckem and Truth. Talabun describes his music as a mirror for self-reflection, blending dark, aggressive themes with complex wordplay. His debut solo EP on Abyssal Audio features a variety of producers and showcases his evolving sound, moving away from negativity toward a more nuanced artistic expression. Despite challenges such as limited live gig opportunities in Russia, he continues to develop his craft, focusing on studio work and collaborations while planning to expand his presence across Europe.

His stage name, Talabun, draws from Indian classical music terminology—'tala' meaning rhythmic patterns—and the English word 'burn,' reflecting his interest in cultural fusion and rhythm.
