Marcel Tadokoro

Marcel Tadokoro is a talented pianist born in Fukuoka, Japan, to a family with a literary background. Neither his French mother nor Japanese father are musicians, but Marcel began studying piano at the age of eight. He later pursued his musical education in Paris, first at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where he completed his master's in 2017, and then at the École Normale de Musique de Paris, where he is working towards a Diplôme Supérieur de Concertiste under Rena Shereshevskaya.

Marcel has distinguished himself in several international competitions, winning first prizes at the Concours international de piano de Lagny-sur-Marne and the Clavicologne International Piano Competition in 2018 and 2019, respectively. He has also been recognized for his performances in France, Russia, Japan, and Austria. More recently, he has been involved in recording projects, including the release of Adolf von Henselt's Complete Piano Études on Naxos Records. His diverse repertoire and international performances have made him a notable figure in the music world.
