Jovino Santos Neto is a Brazilian-born pianist, composer, and arranger known for his dynamic fusion of jazz with traditional Brazilian rhythms. A protégé and longtime collaborator of legendary Brazilian composer Hermeto Pascoal, Jovino brings an adventurous and deeply musical spirit to everything he plays. Since moving to the United States, Jovino has become a vital figure in the global jazz and world music scenes. He's released numerous acclaimed albums as a solo artist and with his Quinteto, showcasing his skill not only as a pianist but also as a bandleader and educator. In addition to performing and recording, he teaches at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, sharing his passionate approach to music with the next generation.
