Young Bleed

Young Bleed is a Baton Rouge-bred rapper who's been holding down the Southern hip-hop scene since the mid-90s. Best known for his gravelly flow and streetwise storytelling, he broke through with his 1998 debut *All I Have in the World Are My Balls and My Word*, featuring the cult classic "How Ya Do That." Over the decades, he's maintained his Louisiana roots while collaborating with heavyweights like Master P and staying independent with releases like *Epic Proportions* and *Trust the Hustle*. His recent work – including 2023's *Off Tha Curb* and the slowed/reverb twist on his iconic debut track – proves he's still grinding, mixing that signature hustler's philosophy with beats that bump like a Cadillac on Air Force Ones.
