Degraved

**Degraved** are a brutal death metal band hailing from Seattle, Washington, who kicked things off around the top of the pandemic as a duo project from members of Cavurn, channeling fast, downtuned riffs in that raw American style. They started with their killer debut demo *Exhumed Remnants*, followed by the *Whispered Morbidity* EP, and built serious underground buzz before dropping their savage full-length debut *Spectral Realm of Ruin* on Dark Descent Records and Me Saco Un Ojo Records in November 2025—packed with gnarled riffs, thunderous blasts, and a grim, atmospheric edge that hooks you deep.

After some lineup shakeups about two years back, bassist/vocalist Nick Emard rebuilt the crew with drummer Leo Padua, and guitarists Monte McCleery, Dante Zickler, and Logan Miller (who all overlap with Emard's other band Cystic), turning Degraved into a tight quartet ready to crush. Their sound nails '90s death metal vibes with a fresh, feral twist—think unrelenting brutality mixed with doomy vibes and hooks that stick, making them a standout in the OSDM scene without chasing trends.
