SeuZé is a Brazilian singer-songwriter known for his eclectic and poetic style. Born in 1945 in Salvador, Bahia, SeuZé (whose real name is José Roberto de Paiva) began his career in the 1960s as part of the Tropicália movement, a cultural and musical phenomenon that blended traditional Brazilian music with modern influences. Throughout his career, SeuZé has been recognized for his unique blend of samba, rock, and folk elements, as well as his socially conscious and often humorous lyrics.
