Ivan Kirchuk

Ivan Kirchuk is a renowned multi-instrumentalist from Belarus, specializing in the ethnology and folklore of his homeland. He is known for playing a wide range of instruments, including rare ancient ones, which he incorporates into his music to reflect the rich cultural heritage of Belarus. Kirchuk is also the founder of the group "Troitsa," which was formed in 1996 with the goal of popularizing Belarusian national songs by blending them with universal musical traditions. One of his notable solo works is the album "Heritage of the Lost Villages," which showcases his minimalist approach to music.

His contributions to Belarusian music have been significant, earning him and his group, "Ethno Trio Troitsa," the National Prize of the Republic of Belarus as the best band of the year in 2011.
