Beatrix*JAR is a dynamic artistic collective based in Minneapolis, formed by Bianca Janine Pettis and Jacob Aaron Roske in 2003. This duo is renowned for their eclectic approach to art, experimenting with video, sound, performance, visual art, and theater. Their music style is characterized by creative use of modified electronic devices like AM radios, flash cameras, Speak and Spells, and other unconventional instruments. Beatrix*JAR has released several albums, including *I Love You Talk Bird*, *Golden Fuzz*, *Art*Star*, and *Hot*mess*, showcasing their unique sound that blends electronic beats with sounds from tampered devices. They have performed extensively across the U.S., engaging audiences in hands-on circuit bending workshops and interactive sound art experiences.
