H.O.T.

H.O.T., an acronym for Highfive Of Teenagers, is a South Korean boy band that is widely recognized as one of the pioneering groups of the K-pop genre. Debuting in 1996 under SM Entertainment, H.O.T. captured the hearts of young fans with their catchy tunes, synchronized dance routines, and fashionable looks that set the trends of the late '90s in South Korea. The group consists of five members: Moon Hee-joon, Jang Woo-hyuk, Tony An, Kangta, and Lee Jae-won.

H.O.T.'s music encompasses a variety of styles, from upbeat dance tracks to heartfelt ballads, often reflecting themes of teen angst, love, and social issues. Their discography boasts a series of successful albums, including 'We Hate All Kinds of Violence...', which marked their debut, and 'Wolf and Sheep', which further established their popularity. With hits from albums like 'Resurrection', 'I Yah!', and their fifth and last studio album, 'Outside Castle', before their initial disbandment in 2001, H.O.T. left an indelible mark on the Asian music landscape. They notably held a comeback concert in 2001 titled "FOREVER 2001 LIVE CONCERT" and have sometimes been involved in reunions that rekindle the enthusiasm of their dedicated fanbase. They are revered for their contribution to creating the mold for the modern K-pop idol group, not just for their musical output but also for their distinctive style and the fervent fan culture they inspired.
