The Headhunters

The Headhunters are a jazz fusion band formed in 1973 by Herbie Hancock, Bennie Maupin, Paul Jackson, Harvey Mason, and Mike Clark. The band's music is characterized by its funky grooves, complex harmonies, and improvisational solos. The Headhunters have released over 20 albums, including the Grammy Award-winning "Thrust" (1974). The band has toured extensively throughout the world and has performed with a variety of artists, including Miles Davis, Carlos Santana, and Chaka Khan.
