Kirk Windstein is a veteran of the heavy music scene, best known as the founder, guitarist, and vocalist of the sludge metal band Crowbar. Hailing from New Orleans, Windstein has been a pivotal force in shaping the Southern sludge sound, blending doom-laden riffs with hardcore intensity. Over the years, he's also played guitar in the supergroup Down alongside members of Pantera and Corrosion of Conformity, and co-founded the band Kingdom of Sorrow with Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed.

In 2020, Windstein stepped out with his first solo album, Dream In Motion, showcasing a more melodic and introspective side of his songwriting while still retaining his signature heaviness. Known for his gravelly voice, crushing guitar tone, and deeply emotional lyrics, Windstein has earned a respected place in the world of heavy music across decades of passionate performances and influential records.
