Teresa Rotschopf

Teresa Rotschopf is a Vienna-based Austrian musician, singer, and composer known for her genre-crossing work that blends experimental pop, new music, and improvised composition. She began her career as the lead singer of the band Bunny Lake, which won the Amadeus Austrian Music Award in 2009 before disbanding in 2012. In 2018, Teresa released her debut solo album "Messiah," produced by Patrick Pulsinger and featuring 18 guest musicians, marking a fresh start in her artistic journey. She holds a master's degree in Music Sociology and balances her music career with being a proud mother of two sons.

Her second solo album, "Currents and Orders," released in 2025, is noted for its radical and grandiose sonic exploration, intriguingly recorded inside a stalactite cave in Styria, Austria. Teresa collaborates with a small group of musicians playing an array of woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments, extending her experimental and atmospheric approach to sound. Recent releases include "O please my Soul (rest on my Back)," and the "Drones 01-05" EP, showcasing her continuous evolution as an artist who is drawn to pushing the boundaries of familiar music forms.
