Andy Kim is a Canadian singer-songwriter who rose to fame in the 1960s with his hit single "Rock Me Gently." Born in Montreal, Quebec, Kim began his music career as a teenager, performing in local clubs and talent shows. In 1967, he signed with Jeff Barry's Steed Records and released his debut album, "Andy Kim." The album featured the hit singles "Rock Me Gently" and "Baby, I Love You," which both reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Kim continued to release successful albums and singles throughout the 1970s and 1980s, including "Rainbow Ride" and "How'd We Ever Get This Way." He has also written songs for other artists, such as "Sugar, Sugar" for The Archies and "Mandy" for Barry Manilow.
