The 5.6.7.8's

The 5.6.7.8's are a Japanese all-female rock trio that formed in Tokyo in 1986. Known for their energetic garage rock sound and retro style, the band consists of sisters Yoshiko "Ronnie" Fujiyama on guitar and vocals and Sachiko Fujiyama on drums, along with bassist Akiko Omo. They gained international attention after appearing in Quentin Tarantino's 2003 film "Kill Bill: Vol. 1," performing their cover of "Woo Hoo." The band's music blends elements of surf rock, rockabilly, and punk, often covering American rock and roll songs from the 1950s and 60s in addition to their original material.
