Abytheon

Abytheon is an atmospheric doom and progressive death metal band from Portland, Oregon, formed in 2015. The project is notably driven by vocalist, lyricist, and guitarist Tristan Bedient, along with guitarist, drummer, and producer Nate. Their music combines a rich blend of styles with a strong emphasis on storytelling and lyrical depth, as seen in releases like "The Mists of Ithriel, Pt. 1," which was a passion project spanning over two years. Tristan is largely self-taught in music, having spent much of his youth recording demos and writing songs, while Nate has a background in formal music education and production. Their sound features not only Tristan’s vocals but also compelling female guest vocals that add to the atmospheric and progressive nature of their music.
