Born on July 21, 1948, in Linköping, Sweden, Hollmer is perhaps best recognized as a founding member of the influential Swedish progressive rock band Samla Mammas Manna. He was an important figure in the Swedish and international progressive rock scene, blending folk melodies with electronic experimentation.
