Jan Willem de Vriend
Jan Willem de Vriend is a Dutch conductor known for his interpretations of Romantic and early 20th-century music. He has led many renowned orchestras, including the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, and the London Philharmonic Orchestra. De Vriend is particularly admired for his performances of the works of Gustav Mahler, Richard Strauss, and Anton Bruckner. He has also recorded extensively, including a complete cycle of Mahler's symphonies.
