PXNDX

PXNDX, also stylized as Panda, is a Mexican rock band formed in Monterrey, Nuevo León, in 1996. The group quickly became one of the leading figures in the Latin American rock scene, gaining traction with their unique blend of punk, emo, and pop influences. The band members include José Madero (vocals and rhythm guitar), Ricardo Treviño (bass guitar and backing vocals), Arturo Arredondo (lead guitar), and Eduardo Treviño (drums), although there have been changes in the lineup throughout the years.

PXNDX made a significant impact on the Spanish-speaking rock community with a string of successful albums. Their rise to fame was solidified with the release of "Para Ti Con Desprecio" (2005), which marked a mature turn in their music style and lyrical content. Subsequent albums such as "Amantes Sunt Amentes" (2006), and "Poetics" (2009) continued to build on this evolution, showcasing the band's versatility and deepening emotional depth. With each release, including "Bonanza" (2012), "Sangre Fría" (2013), and their retrospective collection "Todxs Somos Pxndx" (2021), PXNDX has demonstrated a commitment to growth and artistic expression. Despite announcing an indefinite hiatus in 2016, the band's legacy endures through their passionate fanbase and the significant influence they've had on the rock en español movement.
