Alastair Moock is a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter known for his powerful blend of folk, Americana, and family music. Based in Boston, Moock started his career as a roots musician, drawing comparisons to the likes of Woody Guthrie and John Prine. Over time, he expanded his musical reach to include songs for children and families, often weaving in themes of social justice, resilience, and community.
After his own child was diagnosed with cancer, Moock shifted towards creating empowering music for kids and their families, resulting in the acclaimed album Singing Our Way Through: Songs for the World’s Bravest Kids. He’s since continued that mission with projects like Be a Pain – An Album for Young (and Old) Leaders, using music to motivate the next generation of changemakers. Whether playing for adults or kids, Moock’s music carries a message of hope, strength, and unity.
