KOPFECK is a Bavarian band from Olching near Munich known for their distinctive blend of Mundart (regional dialect) rock and pop. Named after the legendary "Kopfeck Manni," a character from the cult Munich TV series *Monaco Franze*, the band combines original compositions—ranging from rock to pop to acoustic styles—with localized Bavarian adaptations of classic songs. Their frontman Rudolf Wiesent is noted for his storytelling lyrics sung in unmistakable Bavarian dialect, often mixing heartfelt, humorous, and vivid narratives. KOPFECK delivers energetic live performances, having played numerous Bavarian and regional festivals including Tollwood and Sinnflut, as well as city festivals and supporting acts for established bands like Culcha Candela.
