Concordia Crescamus

Concordia Crescamus is the student association choir of the Utrechtse Vereniging voor Studenten Zang en Muziek (U.V.S.V./N.V.V.S.U.), a student singing and music association in Utrecht, Netherlands. They perform a wide variety of music, from traditional Dutch songs to more contemporary pop covers, as evidenced by recent releases like their take on "Tokyo Drift." Many of their songs are tied to specific events within the association, such as lustrum celebrations (anniversary events), as seen with tracks like "Donzig" and "Vliegensvlug." This gives their music a fun, communal feel, reflecting the spirit of student life and shared experiences.

Beyond their celebratory and often humorous songs, Concordia Crescamus also releases original material, like "Gelukkig Genoeg" and "Het Nieuwe Normaal," showcasing their diverse musical talents. Their annual "Troef" and "Vanaf Nu" releases, followed by the year, seem to be key traditions, offering a snapshot of the choir's sound and repertoire at that time. From lighthearted covers to more serious original compositions, Concordia Crescamus provides a vibrant soundtrack to student life in Utrecht.
