Raghav Mathur, popularly known by his first name Raghav, is a Canadian singer-songwriter and musician who has gained significant acclaim for his unique blend of Eastern classical music with modern pop and R&B sounds. Born on April 2, 1979, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, to Indian parents, Raghav developed an early passion for music which was nurtured through his training in both Western classical piano and his exposure to the rich traditions of Indian classical music.

Raghav's breakthrough came with his debut album "Storyteller" which was released in the UK in 2004. The album's hit single “Angel Eyes” incorporated a sample of the Bollywood song "Aaja Teri Yaad Aayi" and projected Raghav into the spotlight.
