Kurts is a Latvian rock band formed in 2009. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Jānis Šipkēvics, bassist Edgars Kaupers, and drummer Kristaps Pētersons. Kurts has released four studio albums, including their most recent, "Pilsētas Leģendas 1.Daļa," which was released in 2022. The band's music is characterized by its catchy melodies, energetic performances, and introspective lyrics. Kurts has toured extensively throughout Latvia and has also performed at several international festivals.
