James and the Drifters

James and the Drifters is an original folk rock band hailing from Huntington and Fort Wayne, Indiana. Formed in 2010 by three local singer-songwriters, Tyler Gault, Kyle Jackson, and Brent Chamberlin, the band's name is inspired by the transient nature of friends they met while living in a community house. Over the years, they have undergone lineup changes, with Kyle Jackson being the only remaining member from their 2014 album "All That Gold." The band is known for their dynamic sound, which has evolved significantly across their discography, including albums like "The Glow," which showcases a more vintage feel with polished songs and a mix of sonic, melodic, and lyrical depth.

Recent releases from James and the Drifters include "Sanctuary," "Thunder," "Tides," and "Merry Merry Christmas," along with older works like "Get the Spirit" and "All That Gold." The band continues to nurture their roots while exploring new musical territories, often maintaining a strong regional presence in their performances.
