Clive Gregson

Clive Gregson is an English singer-songwriter, producer, and guitarist best known for his eclectic and compelling blend of folk, pop, and rock influences. Emerging onto the music scene in the late 1970s with his band Any Trouble, Gregson quickly gained recognition for his sharp songwriting and melodic sensibility. After Any Trouble disbanded, he went on to have a successful solo career and forged a notable collaboration with Christine Collister through the 1980s and early '90s, producing a string of critically acclaimed albums that highlighted their harmony-driven sound.

Known for his literate lyrics and tasteful guitar work, Gregson has also been an in-demand collaborator and producer, working with artists like Richard Thompson, Nanci Griffith, and Eddi Reader. Over the years, he's continued to release solo albums that showcase his melodic craft, including a prolific run of monthly digital releases in 2020. Whether on stage or in the studio, Clive Gregson remains a respected figure in the British and Americana music scenes.
