Katelyn Bouska is a versatile and accomplished pianist known for her engaging performances that span a wide range of repertoire, from early music to contemporary pieces. She is adept at playing various keyboards such as the clavichord, harpsichord, fortepiano, and modern piano. Dr. Bouska has a unique approach to her programming, often combining rarely-heard Czech and American music with works written specifically for her by emerging composers. This distinctive style has earned her recognition on both national and international stages, including performances in the United States, Canada, France, Italy, Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, and the Philippines.
In addition to her performing career, Katelyn Bouska is dedicated to teaching and scholarship. She has held faculty positions at prestigious institutions like the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia, where she contributed to curriculum development and taught a variety of performance-focused courses. She also worked as adjunct keyboard faculty at Temple University, where she earned her D.M.A. in Piano Performance. Bouska is passionate about uncovering and showcasing forgotten music, integrating her research into her artistic endeavors.
