Preethevibes

Preethevibes is a New York City-based Afro-Dancehall group formed by bandmates PARA, KNGLVN, JUS-Q, and MILIO. The group officially came together in 2017 after meeting in high school. They blend Jamaican Dancehall and Ghanaian Afrobeats with the vibrant electronic dance culture of New York's Lower East Side, creating a unique sound they call "Afro-Dancehall." Preethevibes gained momentum with their debut singles, including "Get Down" and "New Day," which secured editorial playlist placements on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music. Their collaboration with Onyi Awani on "Winter Love" further expanded their reach, landing them on various editorial playlists and setting the stage for international performances, such as the "Heaven Can Wait" festival in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Recent releases like "Pool Party," "Money, Money," and "Simma Simma" showcase their evolving style, which combines energetic rhythms with storytelling. Preethevibes have also been involved in social initiatives, using their music to support causes like fighting homelessness. Their music reflects a fusion of Caribbean and African influences, making them a notable name in the contemporary dance music scene.
