Marciano Cantero
Marciano Cantero was a Uruguayan singer-songwriter and bassist best known as the lead vocalist and bassist of the band Enanitos Verdes. Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, on August 1, 1960, Cantero began his musical career in the late 1970s. He co-founded Enanitos Verdes in 1979, and the band went on to achieve international success with hits like "Lamento Boliviano" and "Tu Cárcel." Cantero's distinctive voice and songwriting skills played a significant role in the band's popularity. He passed away on September 8, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving behind a legacy of memorable songs and a lasting impact on Latin American rock music.
