LaTique is a young and versatile music producer from South Africa, specializing in Deep/Tech house music. Born Mfihlakalo Siphesihle Mbanjwa, he hails from Johannesburg and Estcourt in KwaZulu-Natal. LaTique's journey into music began in 2012, influenced by his brother Sandile Mbanjwa, known as "Cilongo." He started playing keyboards at church and later developed an interest in music production, beginning with software like FL Studio in 2013. Over the years, LaTique has collaborated with notable figures in the South African music scene, including Pierre Johnson, and has released music on international labels like DM Recordings. His recent releases include tracks like "Wena," "Sawela," and "High Senses" featuring Kabza De Small. LaTique aims to inspire the underground music scene and make a lasting impact through his authentic sound.
