Caracara is an indie rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The band was formed in 2010 by vocalist and guitarist John Vanderslice, bassist and vocalist Emily Robb, and drummer Jonathon Low. Caracara's music has been described as "atmospheric" and "dreamy," with a sound that draws from shoegaze, post-punk, and dream pop. The band has released four full-length albums, including their most recent, "Summer Megalith," which was released in 2022. Caracara has toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and has shared the stage with bands such as DIIV, Beach House, and Slowdive.
