Gil Livni

Gil Livni is an **Israeli jazz guitarist, singer, composer, and arranger** who's been lighting up stages in Tel Aviv's top jazz spots and rocking major festivals like the Tel Aviv Jazz Festival, Jaffa Jazz Festival, CPH World Music Festival, and even the World Music Festival Shanghai. He's teamed up with heavy hitters in the Israeli jazz scene, including Arale Kaminsky, Amit Friedman, Kobi Salomon, and Tal Ronen, while also jumping into cross-genre fun with groups like Hoodna Orchestra, Las Pampas, Baharat, and Ginger Lemon Honey.

Kicking off his recording career with the debut album *Past BedTime Swing* in 2023, Gil followed up with the fiery organ quartet release *All In* in 2026 on OA2 Records, blending originals, standards, and a killer Beatles cover ("I Want You (She’s So Heavy)") with swing, blues, hard bop, and rock vibes alongside Amit Friedman on sax, Yonatan Riklis on organ, and Yonatan Rosen on drums. A Berklee-trained talent (Bachelor’s from The New School and Israel Conservatory joint program, Master’s with honors from Jerusalem Academy), he's now teaching guitar and improv at the Conservatory, keeping the jazz flame alive.
