Gopika Poornima
Gopika Poornima is a talented Indian playback singer primarily known for her contributions to Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada films. She gained popularity after participating in the singing competition "Padutha Theeyaga." Her career began with the film "Singanna" in 1997, and she has sung more than 500 songs in films and over 4,000 devotional songs under renowned music composers like A.R. Rahman, Ilaiyaraaja, and Devi Sri Prasad. Gopika is also part of the musical band "Suswana," which she formed with her husband Mallikarjun and Parthu in 2016. The band has performed in several countries including India, the U.S., Oman, and Kuwait.
As a versatile artist, Gopika Poornima frequently appears on the TV program "Swarabhishekam" broadcast on ETV every Sunday. Her recent releases include various devotional tracks and film songs across different languages, showcasing her diverse vocal range and dedication to her craft. Her husband, Mallikarjun, is also a prominent singer and composer in the South Indian film industry. Together, they contribute to the rich musical landscape of South India.
