Myron Floren

Myron Floren was an accordion virtuoso who rose to fame as a member of Lawrence Welk's orchestra. Born in 1919, Floren began playing the accordion at a young age and quickly developed a reputation for his exceptional talent. He joined Welk's orchestra in 1950 and became a beloved fixture on the popular television show "The Lawrence Welk Show." Floren's signature style, characterized by his lightning-fast fingerwork and infectious enthusiasm, made him a fan favorite. He continued to perform with Welk until the show's end in 1982 and remained active in music until his passing in 2005.
