Saliva is an American rock band formed in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1996. The band's hard-edged blend of nu metal, grunge, and rap metal propelled them to popularity in the early 2000s, following their breakthrough sophomore album, "Every Six Seconds," which featured their signature hits "Click Click Boom" and "Your Disease." Fronted by original lead vocalist Josey Scott until his departure in 2011, Saliva solidified their place in the rock and alt-metal scene, earning a reputation for their aggressive sound and energetic live performances.
With a career spanning over two decades, Saliva underwent several lineup changes, but consistently continued to release new music. In 2021, they celebrated their 20th anniversary by revisiting their classic hits with the EP "Every Twenty Years," signaling their longevity and influence. The EP included re-recorded versions of tracks like "Click Click Boom" and "Your Disease," showcasing the band's evolution while staying true to their original, adrenaline-laced essence. Saliva, now led by vocalist Bobby Amaru, who joined in 2011, continues to connect with dedicated fans through both their nostalgic hits and new material like "Revelation," "Come Back Stronger," and "High on Me," which demonstrate their relentless drive and commitment to the rock genre.
