Sogo is known for his virtuoso bass guitar skills and mastery of traditional Burundian instruments like the umuduri, ikembe, and idonongo. He gained widespread recognition with his hit song "Il Est Beau Mon Pays," a tribute to the beauty of his homeland. Sogo sings in multiple languages, including Kirundi, Swahili, and French, and has been selected as Burundi's music ambassador by the World Bank Institute.
