Stick Figure

Stick Figure is the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist and producer Scott Woodruff, whose unique blend of reggae and dub music has made a significant impact on the genre's landscape. Emerging from Duxbury, Massachusetts, Woodruff birthed Stick Figure in 2006 as a one-man band while he was still in college. He meticulously crafted his initial releases by recording all instruments himself, layering tracks to create the rich, textured sound that Stick Figure is known for. The name "Stick Figure" comes from Woodruff's early days of composing songs, where he envisaged a character moving through life's journey—a representation of his music's evolution.

Stick Figure's sound is characterized by a combination of upbeat reggae rhythms, hypnotic guitar hooks, and soothing, soulful vocals. Over time, Woodruff expanded Stick Figure into a full band, enhancing their live performances with the addition of members Kevin Bong (keyboards), Kevin Offitzer (drums), Tommy Suliman (bass), and Johnny Cosmic (guitar, keyboards, backing vocals). Their performances are renowned for their energy and the distinct fusion of classic reggae with a modern twist. With a discography that has grown steadily, Stick Figure's most recent releases, such as "Got Me On The Run" with Pepper and the evocative "Paradise (Universal Sound Version)," showcase the band's continued evolution and propensity for collaborative work with other prominent artists in the genre. Whether through original tracks or inventive covers like "Boulevard Of Broken Dreams (Reggae Cover)," Stick Figure consistently delivers music that resonates with fans across the globe, solidifying their status as a beloved name in reggae music.
