Yamataka Eye is a Japanese musician, singer, and performance artist. He is best known as the founder and frontman of the experimental rock band Boredoms, which he formed in 1978. Eye is known for his energetic and chaotic live performances, which often involve the use of multiple instruments and sound effects. He has also released a number of solo albums and collaborated with a wide range of artists, including John Zorn, Merzbow, and Sonic Youth.
