Jan Novotný
Jan Novotný is a Czech pianist and music educator. He is a graduate of the Prague Conservatory and the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. Novotný has won several international piano competitions, including the Prague Spring International Music Competition and the Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition. He has performed as a soloist with major orchestras around the world, including the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic Orchestra. Novotný is also a dedicated teacher and has given masterclasses at many prestigious music schools.
