The Glands
The Glands are an indie rock band from San Francisco, California. Formed in 1999, the band consists of Ross Shapiro (vocals, guitar), Johnathon Kirshner (guitar, vocals), Chris Parfitt (bass), and Joe Maloney (drums). The Glands have released five full-length albums, including their self-titled debut in 2000 and their most recent, "Double Thriller," in 2019. Their music is characterized by its catchy melodies, jangly guitars, and introspective lyrics. The Glands have toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, and have shared the stage with bands such as The Strokes, The White Stripes, and The Shins.
